100% Chardonnay. Domaine Baron Thenard has one of the largest holdings of Montrachet vines, and these traditionally made whites are bold and powerful. The use of new oak is around 50%, and the wines are fermented and aged entirely in barrel. The wine stretches in the mouth with an impressive amplitude, an endless finish and a natural harmony bringing a lot of complexity. The primary notes of peach, pear and apricot mingle with a magnificent buttery and vanilla touch. Pair this concentrated and rich dry white with Bresse chicken and chestnuts.
