2019 Clos de Vougeot "Hommage à Jean Morin" Grand Cru comes from a special picking of the bunches closest to the trunk that receive the sap first. It's deep and textural, with prodigious reserves of fruit and rich, powdery tannin, the perfumed, floral bouquet delivers copious dark cherries, blueberry and hints of licorice, incense and crushed stone. The palate is plush and exquisitely defined on the entry, with heightened mineralit. Satiny-textured toward the finish. This is a marvelous Clos de Vougeot that should give 20–30 years of drinking pleasure. 97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
