Dry Riesling on clay-limestone soils. Spontaneous fermentations in old oak casks taken to full dryness before ageing in large-format old barrels (some as old as 120 years). Med gold colour. Complex nose of petroleum, beeswax and nectarine. Elegant and rounded with vibrant acidity, and lots of complexity. Citrus and finely cut minerals in the finish. Described by Frank Cornellison as one of the best white wines in the world and it did not disappoint!
