Tasting note from Cellartracker.com: Inky ruby red color matches the nose that has lots of dark brooding smoky intensity. Notes of smoked meat, BBQ sauce and allspice drift out of the glass on a background of dried prunes and dark fruit. Good body and similar flavours on the palate with a nice balance of acidity, firm-ish tannins and fruit. Finish is medium and rich with no green aftertaste.
Tasting Notes
From winespectator.com: Grapey and fruity on the nose, with notes of blueberry. Full-bodied and chewy, with berry character, good acidity and a medium finish. Tight and layered, this is already very satisfying. The second wine of Guado al Tasso. Best after 2012. 29,165 cases made. –JS
